I would like to say a big thank you to my team of helpers and organisers who did a fantastic job whom without the event just would not have happened. When planning an event of this size it can takes months of behind the scene planning digging into our home life time so a big thank you to our families who have been supportive while we work on this
As your aware the staff & Students of East Surrey College & Reigate School of art design and media played a very big role this year and did a fantastic job on the sound, lighting and film side of things as well as the band selection process.
The friends of Marden Lodge (PTA) really worked hard and kept towards the cheap affordable day out for families theme. It was PTA work at its best when staff and parents of Marden Lodge really become one and gave up there time for free.
The Caterham Carnival Committee did a great job and was on site to build up numbers and of course pass on some of the wealth of experience they have. In return the friends of Marden lodge will donate 10% of Profit Made back to the Carnival Committee so the Community will benefit from our great event as well.
The Caterham Festival played a big part with the Party in the Park marketing this year by advertising the event for FREE in the festival brochure and on locally displayed posters. The Festival also paid for the Finale Fireworks that finished of a great event. Also paid for by the festival was the first aid that was on hand for the duration of the event.
The Bands, Every band that played at this years event played for FREE so a big thank you to them for giving up there time and for rocking our socks off.
